I’m having a bit of a blog crush on 21-year old Carrie of this adorable blog, WishWishWish. I stumbled across this post about the Harry Potter studio tour she took in Leavesden. I love the Hogwarts photos and the super cute star-pattern dress she wears on her visit.
Just one post in and I’m already a huge fan.

Give her blog a read if you’re into all things Harry Potter or if you’re looking for a new fashion girl to trail on the interwebz.

Miss-Match was lucky enough to score passes to Penshoppe’s last show at Philippine Fashion Week (thanks, brand director Alex Mendoza!). We couldn’t wait to see the collection plus catch a glimpse at their brand new endorser, LEIGHTON MEESTER.

We got there early but already, the lights were on and the audience was buzzing! That’s me on the right with Sparkling magazine’s managing editor, Gigi Yia.

Pardon the blurry shot! The show started with a lot of chambray outfits. I love how they paired this button down with bright green leggings (if only I could pull this off in real life, haha).

Loving these swingy dresses and skirts and the candy-colored pastel platforms.

These are two of my favorite looks from the whole show. I love the color block combinations and the flowy fabric. You don’t have to sacrifice comfort for style!

This dramatic number was fun to watch across the runway.

The guys’ M&M/Skittles colored shoes were so cute! They looked perfect against the Mondrian-inspired background wall too.

Introducing Leighton Meester—she is gorgeous!

There’s Leighton with Penshoppe’s Alex Mendoza and hottie Mario Maurer.
Hmm, maybe next fashion week, they can bring in Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester together? (I’m personally a Dan-Blair fan, but who am I to say no to Chuck? LOL). And Zac Efron and Ian Somerhalder too… We’ll definitely be in attendance if that’s ever happening! :P
Hope you enjoyed this little sneak peek at PFW’s Penshoppe IMPACT show!

I’ve heard a lot of buzz about Inglot palettes—how you could assemble your own group of super pigmented shades and how they worked just as great (or even better) than MAC. They aren’t available in Manila though, so I never thought I’d really be able to try them on.
Last year though, I signed up for a workshop with Cristina Madara, makeup artist, vlogger and consultant, and was only too pleased to find out she was bringing the brand in! What I got out of the one-on-one session was tons of tips, answers to questions I thought I’d never find the answers to (if I total the amount of SPF in all the products I use, does that mean I get more sun protection? haha! —the answer was no, btw), and the chance to try Inglot and so many other brands.
Their eyeshadows lived up to the hype and surprisingly enough, I found out that their lipsticks were really great. Cristina even got me to try a super red shade that I thought would never ever work with my skin.
Cristina does special sales of Inglot (and a whole slew of other brands) plus she still offers her one on one beauty workshops. I highly recommend them as I really did learn a lot—swing by her sale this May 18, plus her blog and YouTube channel as well for more good stuff. :)

I discovered Aleyn Comprendio’s dreamy, whimsical work at her show in Heima a few weeks ago. I love how her images completely capture the Miss-Match look! It’s also fun trying to form a story from the many collections you can find on her blog, www.aleyncomprendio.com. Check her out and find her images in the Miss-Match graphic section too :) Create your virtual look using her graphics here.

I wrote a few days ago about the funky way my formerly oily skin has shifted and turned combination and now dry. It was time to nix my former products and try new ones—luckily, Etude House just came out with their Malgeum line. I must say, their hypoallergenic toner has done wonders for my skin in just a few days! All my rough, dry patches have disappeared and my skin is now back to looking normal. I’m now committed to trying out their moisturizer for all skin types as I’m pretty sure it’ll work just as great as the toner for dry skin did.
The entire line offers solutions for all types of skin—oily, dry, combination, trouble prone and dry/sensitive at a super reasonable price point (P678). I highly recommend you give this a go!

All the weather changes have been making my skin a little funky these last full days—which is why I’m super grateful that Etude House came out with this new line of hypoallergenic toners. My staple one has been drying my skin out so I’m now switching to Skin Malgeum’s Moisture Care toner for dry skin (available at Etude House for P678). I’ll keep you posted on how well my skin fares after this, but I’m crossing my fingers for great results! :)

Visiting Japanese P85 stores are one of my guilty pleasures! It’s also brought me to my favorite beauty accessory as of late—the silicone face brush. For under a hundred bucks, this little cleansing brush that you hold with your index and middle finger and use to buff your face (along with your cleanser) has done wonders for my skin. It wipes out all traces of grime, cleans any visible blackheads off my skin and coupled with my go-to cleanser by VMV, it has definitely improved my skin.
It’s not heavy on the pocket and it works (and, for all you girly girls, it’s pink, too!)—definitely one good reason to drop by your nearest Daiso or Saizen, stat.

I loved making friendship bracelets as a kid, but I never went beyond the ordinary kind because I was always so terrible at figuring out how to do the complicated X’s and diagonals. Luckily, kids (and kids at heart) today have this super fun guide—perfect for that stacked accessory look everyone’s sporting these days.
Check out The Friendship Bracelet Book in local bookstores—for only P150, you’ll have an entire summer’s worth of fun projects and a whole armful of pretty bracelets too.

I’ve been on a skincare testing binge lately and I think I might have struck gold with this super effective line from Korean brand TonyMoly. Friends tipped me on the Intense Repair Live Snail mask, which I’ve tried out over the last two weeks. So far, I’ve seen amazing effects and have gone on to using the anti-wrinkle cream too. I use it at night and wake up to soft, supple and super smooth skin!
Can’t wait to try out the rest of the products under this line—they’ve even got a sun cream… perfect for this season!

I must have taken photography classes three times already, and I still can’t figure out how to use the manual settings on my camera (whether it’s an SLR or a digital point and shoot!). Luckily, Instagram was invented and now I don’t have to take forever, figuring out how to work my camera before coming up with a fun picture.
One of my favorite blogs, A Beautiful Mess did a super cute rundown of camera apps you can download on to your smart phone to produce some artful shots. I am loving all the creative ways Elsie uses her iPhone!
This is really timely too, since Android users just got Instagram on their phones today. Time to start snapping!
Follow me on Instagram @superrrfudge and I’ll add you up too :)
